Cap: 6-20cm Grey-brown, lighter towards the edge.Convex at first becoming slightly depressed. Persistently in-rolled margin.

Gills: Decurrent, crowded, off-white.

Stem: Off-white, fibrous.

Spores:

Flesh: Cream

Habitat: In troops or rings on the ground in any woodland.

Frequency: Very Common
