Cap: 4-10cm Chestnut or dark red-brown. Slightly scurfy.

Stem: Yellow covered in minute red dots.

Tubes: Lemon yellow

Pores: Small lemon yellow

Spores: Walnut brown

Flesh: Lemon yellow

Habitat: On the ground in deciduous woods
