Cap: 5-15cm Saffron with concentric darker bands. Depressed with inrolled margin.

Gills: Slightly decurrent. Saffron.

Stem: Paler than the cap with darker depressed spots.

Spores: Pinkish cream.

Flesh: Yellowish. Releases an orange latex on cutting.

Habitat: On the ground with pines

Frequency: Frequent

Season:  Jan  Feb  Mar  Apr  May  Jun  Jul  Aug  Sep  Oct  Nov  Dec 

Edibility: Good
