Cap: 8-12cm Heavily convex at first later flat with a distinct central boss. Pale cream with small darker scales.

Gills: White and free

Stem: Tall slender with a thick woolly ring.

Spores: White

Flesh: White. Not changing.

Habitat: On the ground in open woodland.

Frequency: Frequent
